Wanna Get the Red Out?

Wanna Get the Red Out?

There are a lot of things that can cause redness in the skin: rosacea, eczema, acne, sunburn or burns, heat, dermatitis, over exfoliation, skin products. But all of them have one thing in common and that is an impaired skin barrier. So, how do you start to reduce the red or inflammation?

Here is a list of my favorite products that help get the red out:

1. An Ice Roller

This is my favorite! It is a stainless steel roller that can be kept in the refrigerator. You simply roll this on your skin, making sure to keep moving so it doesn’t stay in any one place. Move from the middle of the face to the closest ear and then the other direction. You can then start at the temple and roll down the sides of the face and neck.

2. Hale and Hush Bio Relief Powder

This powder is so very versatile! It can be brushed onto the bare skin or it can be mixed into a paste with the Hale and Hush Hydrate Gel, Hale and Hush Soothe Essence, or Hale and Hush Mist Me. Apply it over the entire face or use it as a spot treatment.

3. Bel Mondo Moisture Relief Sheet Masks

These masks are the 💣 bomb for calming and hydrating the skin. I use one a week to keep my skin super hydrated.

4. Ruby Cleanser by Roccoco Botanicals

This is a super luxurious cleansing balm that is acne safe and reduces inflammation in the skin. It cleanses but does not disrupt the barrier.

5. Soothing Cleansing Oil by Roccoco Botanicals

This oil is loaded with rich Omega 3 fatty acids that are designed to soothe and replenish the skin barrier.

6. Radiance Moisturizer by Roccoco Botanicals

This product was designed for skin that flushes and reacts easily. It contains ingredients to diminish the appearance of capillaries.

7. Reactive Skin Cream Intensive by Roccoco Botanicals

This is another product that was designed for rosacea prone skin, especially those that form papules. It is so calming to the skin and also diminishes the appearance of capillaries.

8. Soothe Essence by Hale and Hush

This essence is perfect for reducing redness, increasing hydration levels and restoring the skin barrier. This one, however, is not acne safe.

9. Mist Me by Hale and Hush

This delicious spray is designed to hydrate, soothe and nourish your skin. Its super anti-inflammatory properties make it fantastic at reducing redness.
