Ingredients:

Distilled water, Squalane, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, Propanediol 1 3, Sodium acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, Hydrolyzed silk protein, Glycerin, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP, Beta glucan,C15-19 alkane, colloidal oatmeal, hyaluronic acid, polyglyceryl-6 laurate, polyglycerin-6, Sodium lauroyl lactylate, carbomer, Benzylalcohol, phenoxyethanol, Acetyl hexapeptide-3,Hydroxypropyl cyclodextrin, palmitoyl tripeptide-38, Phytosphingosine, Palmitoyl dipeptide-5, diaminobutyloyl hydroxythreonine, palmitoyl dipeptide-5, diaminohydroxybutyrate, scorbic acid, Hydrolyzed collagen, Palmitoyl tripeptide-5, cholesterol, Tremella mushroom, Tetrapeptide 30, Tetrapeptide-21,Nano liposomal resveratrol, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate

1: Tightens and smooths skin

AIREtech PD5(2) peptides:

palmitoyl dipeptide-5 diaminobutyloyl hydroxythreonine (tetrapeptide), palmitoyl dipeptide-5 diaminohydroxybutyrate (tripeptide):

Leads to skin compactness, reduces appearance of wrinkles, increases tonicity & firmness. Makes the skin look firmer, younger and rejuvenated and nourished. Clinical studies in vitro and in vivo have shown significant skin improvement. (Figure 1)

Acetyl hexapeptide-3:

Works through a unique mechanism which makes the skin looks firm and tight. Can reduce the appearance of superficial facial lines and wrinkles with regular use.

2: Hydrates the skin from within

Hyaluronic Acid:

Responsible for tissue hydration, lubrication and tissue stability. Holds 500 times its own weight in water. Most powerful moisturizer and humectant available. (Figure 1)

3: Strengthens the skin barrier

AIRE-CPC Tri-Lipid Complex

Ceramides phytosphingosine and cholesterol:

The Ceramides we are using are Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP and Ceramide EOP. Phytosphingosine is a phospholipid, a fat that’s naturally found in the outermost layer of the skin. It’s one component of the skin barrier, along with ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids.

Beta Glucan:

Antioxidant that strengthens the skin barrier and minimizes transepidermal water loss

Colloidal oatmeal:

soothes stressed, blemished and irritated skin

Tetrapeptide-21:

stimulates collagen growth and skin repair.

4: Diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Hydrolyzed collagen:

Improves appearance of aged and blemished skin.

Palmitoyl tripeptide-38:

Improves appearance of skin, fine lines, and wrinkles from the inside particularly on the forehead and crow's feet. In-vitro studies have found a matrikine-like effect that stimulates the synthesis of six major proteins including collagen I, II, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid and laminin 5.

Palmitoyl tripeptide-5:

In-vitro tests showed that tripeptide has better collagen building capacity than TGF-beta. Has good skin firming and moisturizing properties.

Tetrapeptide 30:

Anti-aging products with correction of age spots and pigmentation.

Nano liposomal Resveratrol:

Nano liposomal Resveratrol has a particle size of less than 30nm, and enables the resveratrol to be steadily encapsulated in nano-carriers, greatly improving the absorption efficiency and bioavailability. Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol and powerful antioxidant. Has been found to reduce the appearance of aging skin due to its good antioxidant effects.

Science Q&A: NMF Hydrator

What does NMF stand for and what role does it play in skin health?

A: Natural moisturizing factor (NMF) is essential for appropriate karotinocyte hydration, barrier homeostasis, minimization of trans-epidermal water loss and cellular health.

The role of NMF is to maintain adequate skin hydration. Adequate hydration of the Stratem Cornium serves three major functions:

1. Maintain plasticity of the skin, protecting it from damage.
2. Allows Hydrolytic enzymes to function on the process of desquamation.
3. Contributes to optimum Stratum Corneum function.

Is NMF necessary for the skin barrier to be healthy?

A: The skin barrier is crucial for ensuring the skin looks and feels healthy and hydrated. It's your bodys first line of defense against environmental pollutants, toxins, micro-organisms and allergens that your skin is exposed to everyday. Disruption of the barrier results in inflammation infection and several dermatological diseases.
